Armenian Premier League title-holders FK Pyunik have improved their squad with two important signings ahead of the new season.
Impressive Sistera
The Yerevan side now have two Argentinians on their books as Miguel Sistera has joined José Andre Bilibio at Pyunik. Sistera, from FC Barcelona in Ecuador, has signed for the club after impressing at a pre-season camp in France.
New No1
Pyunik have also finally completed their search for a goalkeeper to replace Slava Sukiasyan, who has left for Iranian football. The Russian goalkeeper Ruslan Lyashuk will be the new No1 after impressing at the Commonwealth Cup in Moscow. The 27-year-old joins from the Russian Premier-Liga club FC Torpedo-ZIL Moscow.
High expectations
Pyunik have made the signings in the hope that they will be able to win another title and make it past the first round of UEFA Champions League qualification.
