Fernandez opener
Heine Fernandez put Akademisk ahead in the 27th minute before the late revival from the 1999 champions. Michael Silberbauer levelled in the 80th minute and Stefan Bidstrup struck the winner eight minutes later.
Goal difference
Aalborg are now behind second-placed FC København on goal difference alone, with leaders Brøndby IF seven points clear. Akademisk are in fifth, five points behind Aalborg.
