Hammarby IF FF midfielder Johan Andersson has sustained a knee injury in a pre-season friendly.

Swedish champions Hammarby IF FF will be without their key midfield player Johan Andersson for the opening of the Allsvenskan season after he has sustained a knee injury in a friendly match.

'Back in three to four weeks'
Andersson picked up the knock when he collided with Johan Ejerhold in a match against Örgryte IS, Hammarby's opponents in their first game of the season in April. "I continued to run but I had to give it up after a while," Andersson said. "The doctor thought that I could be back in training within three to four weeks but I hope to be back running within ten days.

'Really unlucky'
This injury is really unlucky. The league starts on the 8 April, and even though I hope to be back in time to play it still takes time to catch up."
