Crowd disturbances

Kuyt ends dream
On the pitch, the Ajax second string were hoping to set up a showdown with their club's first team in the final, but two goals for Utrecht from Dirk Kuyt on 24 minutes and Igor Gluscevic on 62 minutes seemed to have put paid to that ambition.
Rafael double
However a late double from Nando Rafael saw the match go into the extra 30 minutes. After no more goals were scored, the game went to a penalty shoot-out which Utrecht edged 7-6. Utrecht will now meet the winners of the other semi-final match between PSV Eindhoven and Ajax on 10 April in the final at the Amsterdam ArenA.
