Slovenian league leaders NK Maribor cemented their position with a 7-0 win on Saturday.
Magnificent Maribor triumph
Unfortunate NK Gorica found Maribor in devastating form at the Ljudski vrt stadium, with man-of-the-match Ermin Rakovic opening the scoring after only two minutes. Dejan Djuranovic doubled the lead in the 20th minute from Amir Karic's left wing cross before Damir Pekic scored either side of half-time (38 and 61 minutes), with Rakovic involved in both. Then Rakovic applied the final touch to a 71st minute move, before Samir Duro (76) and Darko Djukic (90) relieved him of goalscoring duties.
Koper sneak a win
Second-placed NK Koper edged past second-bottom NK Zivila Triglav with a 1-0 win. Saudin Hujsenovic provided the telling strike that ensured his side kept pace with Maribor. Mirko Bunjevcevic launched the 72nd-minute cross that gave Hujsenovic his chance.
Joy for Publikum
NK Publikum boosted their league standing by claiming a 1-0 win at NK Rudar Velenje. When mayhem broke out in the home side's box in the 45th minute, Marjan Budimir pounced to net the winner.
