Article body
NK Primorje's hopes of claiming the Slovenian first division title suffered a blow with a 2-1 home defeat against NK Publikum.
Missed opportunity
Victory would have returned winter-break leaders Primorje to the top of the table, but fell behind after 28 minutes when Vladislav Lungu pounced after some bad defending.
No equaliser
Samo Vidovic doubled Publikum's lead on 54 minutes, and although Luka Vidmar pulled one back soon afterwards, the home side were unable to find an equaliser.
Mura secure win
NK Mura kept their slim championship hopes alive with a 2-0 win over bottom club NK Domzale, thanks to a goal in each half from Diego Romero and Marjan Dominko.
Late clincher
NK Šmartno also claimed a 2-0 victory at home to NK Zivila Triglav, with Dalibor Teinovic opening the scoring with an 18th-minute free-kick, and Marko Pokleka confirming the points with seconds left in the match.
Korotan beaten
Elsewhere, 2-0 was also the winning-margin for NK Olimpija Ljubljana at home to NK Korotan. Again it was a goal in each half that secured the game for the hosts, Anton Zlogar and Blaz Puc on the scoresheet.
