Slovenia round-up: Primorje humbled by Gorica

NK Primorje's 1. SNL title hopes took a major blow as they lost 3-1 at NK Gorica on Saturday.

Primorje struggle in Novi Gorica
The second-placed side found it hard going at the Športni Park in Novi Gorica and fell behind when Ehad Goga latched on to Nebojsa Kovacevic's pass to score after 22 minutes. Primorje then levelled through Luka Vidmar who exploited a mix-up in the Gorica defence to send the sides in level at half-time.

However, Primorje's hopes of an away win were soon thwarted as Gorica regained the lead through substitute Ales Krsic on 61 minutes following good build-up play from Ales Pus. Matej Mavric completed the scoring with a solo effort five minutes from time.
