Wins for leaders Barry Town AFC and Bangor City FC has kept the Welsh title race alive.

Leaders Barry Town AFC and Bangor City FC both won today to heat up the Welsh title race.

Barry ease home
Top-of-the-table Barry won 2-0 against Caernarfon Town FC to maintain their three-point lead over Bangor. Lee Phillips' 53rd-minute goal and a Paul Roberts own goal on 67 minutes were more than enough to seal the points for Barry but Bangor have left the leaders in no doubt of their strength.

Bangor hit six
The second-placed side romped to an emphatic 6-3 win away at Cwmbran Town FC. Mark Lloyd-Williams scored a hat-trick and veteran former Manchester United FC midfield player Clayton Blackmore scored twice as Bangor ran wild in Cwmbran while Chris Watkins, Jason Welsh and Mark Dunn were on target for the hosts.

Joy for Llansantffraid
Third-placed TNS Llansantffraid FC beat Carmarthen Town AFC 3-0 at home to keep the gap between themselves and Bangor at five points. A John Toner double and a Scott Roscoe strike completed a comfortable win for Llansantffraid, while Rhayader Town FC edged a step closer to relegation this afternoon after slipping to a 2-1 home defeat against fellow strugglers Oswestry Town FC.

Caersws win away
In today's other fixtures, Afan Lido FC and Flexsys Cefn Druids AFC played out a goalless draw, Newtown AFC beat Connah's Quay Nomads FC 1-0 on home soil and Rhyl FC went down 3-1 at home to Caersws FC.
