The Football Association of Iceland (KSÍ) has ruled in favour of switching the kick-off times of all midweek fixtures in the Urvalsdeild to make them more amenable to supporters.
Encouraging family attendance
Midweek games have traditionally started at 21.00CET but the KSÍ believes bringing games forward to 20.15CET will encourage more families to attend. "The change will allow supporters with children to take the whole family to games and get home at a reasonable hour," said a spokesman.
