PFC Levski Sofia continued their seemingly unstoppable march towards the A PFG title on Wednesday night by beating PFC Spartak Varna 6-0 at the Gueorgui Asparuchov stadium.

The capital club are aiming for their third successive Bulgarian Professional League crown. Ishtvan Ferentsi put them ahead after just five minutes, scoring the first of his two goals on the night. The hosts took a 3-0 lead into the half-time interval after a double strike from Péter Kabát, who netted in the 40th and 45th minutes respectively.
Comprehensive win
Varna had no answer to the home side's incessant attacks and they found themselves four goals down on the hour mark, Miodrag Pantelich getting his name on the scoresheet. Ferentsi made it five in the 77th minute with his second and Georgi Chilikov wrapped up a fine victory with a penalty three minutes from time.

Second-placed PFC CSKA Sofia continued their relentless pursuit of their city rivals with a narrow 1-0 away win at struggling PFC Cherno More. Vladimir Manchev grabbed the only goal of the game 15 minutes from time.

In Lovech, Murad Hidiued's 66th-minute penalty ensured PFC Litex Lovech kept pace with the two frontrunners after they came out on top in a 1-0 home victory against PFC Belasitsa.
Looking up
Life does not get any easier for PFC Beroe at the foot of the table. The Stara Zagora club went down 1-0 at home to PFC Neftochimik - their 16th defeat of the season - thanks to a Stoyko Sakaliev strike after 53 minutes. The bottom club are now seven points adrift of second-from-bottom Cherno.
