The victory at Farrar Road moved second-placed Bangor to within five points of Barry with a game in hand. It was a less happy night for Cwmbran Town FC, who went down 3-0 at Aberystwyth Town FC. The visitors were hoping to keep up their challenge on the leading pack but the defeat leaves them in fifth place.
Victory for Afan Lido
Tuesday night's other results in the League of Wales saw Afan Lido FC triumph 1-0 at home against Carmarthen Town FC and Caernarfon Town and Newtown AFC play out a goalless draw.
