FK Obilic make Milan Zivadinovic coach just days after handing Goran Vasilijevic the role.

Only a few days after installing Goran Vasilijevic as coach, FK Obilic have had a change of plan and replaced him with the former Yugoslavia coach, Milan Zivadinovic. Vasilijevic has been demoted to assistant coach.

'Zivadinovic is an expert'
"I believe in Vasilijevic who knows a lot about football but who is very inexperienced. I think that by hiring such an experienced coach we have solved a very important matter. The fact that he was leading the national team shows that Zivadinovic is an expert," said the Obilic president Svetlana Raznatovic.

Torrid times
Zivadinovic has had spells with the Yugoslavia A and Under-21 sides and also managed the Iranian national team. His appointment brings to a close a torrid chapter for Obilic. Their former coach, Ratko Dostanic, resigned last week after a series of poor results, citing the stress of the job as a major contributory factor. The Yugoslavian 1st Liga club were further stunned when their captain Bojan Filipovic launched a scathing attack on his team-mates for their part in Dostanic's departure.

Old hand
Raznatovic hopes the appointment of an old hand will help steady the ship and lead the third-placed club to European football next season.
