The Belgian first division side bought Australian international striker Clayton Zane from Lillestrøm SK for €2.5m on Monday and their two new recruits will arrive at the Constant Vanden Stock stadium on 2 June.

'Develop as a player'
"I had contacts with several clubs, mainly in England, for a transfer," said Tihinen. "But I felt that I had more chance to develop as a player at Anderlecht. It is a traditional club with a good reputation. After talking about the club with several of my compatriots who play in Belgium my choice was very easy. This is a very important step in my career."

High prize
The Finnish international had been on the shopping lists of many sides in Europe, particularly West Ham United FC where he impressed during a loan spell, but clubs were put off by Viking's original valuation of the defender.
