The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has decided to close Real Betis Balompié's Ruiz de Lopera stadium for two matches following crowd trouble during the recent derby with Sevilla FC.
Dangerous flares
Flares were launched into the visiting supporters' enclosure at the start of the 23 March game and fans of both teams invaded the pitch at the final whistle. The closure is expected to be carried over to next season after Betis said they will appeal. The RFEF also fined Betis €3,305 and Sevilla €1,502.
