A team of F.Y.R. Macedonian veterans will tackle some Yugoslavian counterparts to celebrate the 15th anniversary of FK Vardar's Yugloslavian title success and raise money for humanitarian aid.
Famous names
The 27 April match in Skopje will feature celebrated former Vardar players including Darko Pancev, Ilija Najdoski and Dragan Kanatlatovski, while the likes of Zvonimir Boban, Dejan Savicevic, Dragan Stojkovic, and Bosko and Milko Djurovski will line up against them.
Celebrated coach
Ljupko Petrovic, the man who led FK Crvena Zvezda to the European Champion Clubs' Cup in 1991, will take charge of the Vardar veterans. The club, who now play in the Macedonian Premier League, won the Yugoslavian championship in the 1985/86 season.
