Mihajlo Petrovic has stepped down as coach of NK Olimpija Ljubljana after a series of disappointing results.
Humiliating defeat
Olimpija, who finished runners-up last season, can only finish fourth this term and their disappointing season was capped by a humiliating 5-0 defeat against league-leaders NK Maribor on Wednesday. Petrovic has stepped down and has been replaced by his former assistant Samir Zulic, who will take charge for the final two matches.
Rudar coach quits
Meanwhile, NK Rudar Velenje boss Vojislav Simeunovic has also resigned with just two matches of the season to go following the club's shock 4-1 defeat against relegation-threatened NK Zivila Triglav. He has also been replaced by his former assistant in the shape of Marjan Marjanovic. NK Publikum coach Marjan Pusnik is now the only Slovenian coach to have kept his job for the whole season.
