Wales round-up: Rhayader end with a draw

Relegated Rhayader Town FC finished their miserable League of Wales campaign with a 1-1 draw at home against Connah’s Quay Nomads FC tonight.

Rhayader’s point meant they finished with 15 points from 34 games, 13 points adrift of their nearest rivals and fellow demoted team, Haverfordwest County AFC. Victory for Connah’s Quay would have taken them up one place to eighth in the final standings but they had to be content with the draw.
