Article body
Swedish champions Hammarby IF FF picked up their first win of the new campaign with a 3-1 victory over IFK Malmö FK.
Penalty opener
Kennedy Bakircioglu put the hosts in front in the 19th minute from the penalty spot, after Lee Baxter had brought down Martin Andersson. Although Malmö drew level 13 minutes later through Peter Ijeh, Andreas Heransson restored Hammarby's advantage with a close-range header in the 51st minute and Peter Markstedt sealed the win four minutes from time.
Landskrona go top
Landskrona BoIS moved to the top of the table with their third win in four games - a 3-0 triumph at IF Elfsborg. After a goalless first half, the game changed three minutes into the second period when Elfsborg goalkeeper Johan Wiland was sent off for bringing down Daniel Nannskog in the area. Henrik Nilsson made no mistake from the spot and the points were effectively sealed six minutes later when Matthias Eklund netted on a breakaway. Nannskog made it three in the closing minutes.
Örgryte held
Örgryte IS slipped to second on goal difference after dropping their first points of the season in a 2-2 draw with AIK Solna. It could have been worse, however, for Örgryte who had to fight back from two goals down after Andreas Andersson struck twice for the visitors inside the first 20 minutes. Jeffrey Aubynn pulled a goal back from close range in the 28th minute and Patrik Fredholm equalised ten minutes from the end.
