Georgia round-up: Dinamo take derby honours

FC Dinamo Tbilisi are now seven points behind leaders FC Torpedo Kutaisi at the top of the championship group after a 2-0 home triumph over city rivals FC Lokomotiv Tbilisi.

Koridze dismissed
Giorgi Anchabadze put the hosts ahead after 55 minutes and Dinamo's chances of victory were enhanced when visiting defender Giorgi Koridze was sent off nine minutes from time. The extra man told when Dinamo doubled their lead four minutes from the end through Giorgi Mikadze's strike.

Kolkheti close gap
FC Kolkheti 1913-Poti closed the gap on fourth-placed FC Dinamo Batumi to one point with a convincing 3-0 home victory over their rivals. All the goals came in the second half from Kakhaber Daushvili (50), Eldar Gvasalia (79) and Gela Panchulidze (89).

Sioni slip back
FC WIT-Georgia Tbilisi lead the way in the relegation group after a 1-0 away win at basement club FC Guria Lanchkhuti, Vladimir Gochashvili scoring the game's only goal in the 65th minute. WIT are now two points clear of FC Sioni Bolnisi who slipped
off the pace after a 1-0 defeat at FC Samgurali Tskaltubo.

Gorda glee
FC Gorda Rustavi beat FC Metalurgi Zestaponi 1-0 in the day's other relegation group fixture.
