NK Primorje set up a thrilling finale to the 1. SNL season after beating NK Rudar Velenje 4-0.

NK Primorje set up a thrilling finale to the 1. SNL season next weekend after beating NK Rudar Velenje 4-0 this afternoon.

Down to the wire
The Slovenian first division's second-placed side ensured that leaders NK Maribor will have to take at least a point from NK Primorje in the final game of the season if they are to claim the title. Maribor, who drew 1-1 with NK Koper yesterday, are three points ahead of Primorje at the top of the table and take home advantage into next weekend's showdown.

Obilinovic double
This season Maribor have won one and drawn one of their previous encounters with Primorje, but will meet a side full of confidence after this afternoon's showing. Two goals from Romano Obilinovic, and one each from Matej Mlakar and Simon Gregoric, delivered the points as Primorje kept their title hopes alive.

Wrong end
Fourth-placed NK Olimpija Ljubljana beat NK Publikum 1-0 thanks to a Damjan Oslaj goal and sixth-placed NK Gorica won by the same scoreline against NK Šmartno after Nedzad Alibabic's own goal.

Game of two halves
Relegated NK Domzale took a first-half lead against NK Zivila Triglav through Edis Causevic, but second-half goals from Sani Trgo and Ales Mejac gave Zivila a 2-1 win.

Late drama
In the day's other game, a last-minute goal from Selvad Kujovic gave NK Korotan a 1-0 win over NK Mura. The final relegation spot will be decided next weekend between Korotan and Zivila.
