Legia Warszawa sealed the Polish title with a goalless draw with Odra Wodzislaw.

After a seven-year wait, Legia Warszawa won the Polish first division title today after a goalless draw with Odra Wodzislaw.

'We deserved the title'
After the match, Legia captain Cezary Kucharski said of his side's title win: "I don't know what to say - I'm so happy. It was a very hard season but we deserved the title. Tonight we are going to celebrate with our supporters all night long."

Katowice beaten
Legia's nearest challengers, TS Wisla Kraków, won 1-0 at GKS Katowice, Tomasz Frankowski scoring the winning goal 15 minutes from time with a close-range bicycle kick. Kamil Kosowski nearly increased his team's lead in the final seconds, but hit the bar.

Comfortable win
Elsewhere, KS Amica Wronki beat KP Polonia Warszawa 4-0. Goals from Tomasz Dawidowski and Jacek Dembinski and an own goal by Polonia defender Piotr Dziewicki gave Amica a 3-0 lead at the break. Dawidowski completed the scoring with his second of the match in the 75th minute.

Spoils shared
Pogon Szczecin shared the points with KS Ruch Chorzów. Ruch took the lead through Jan Wos in the seventh minute, but Dariusz Dzwigala equalised with a 49th-minute penalty after Mariusz Masternak had handled inside the penalty area.
