An injury-time equaliser from Mario Nunes kept the Bulgarian Professional League Championship play-off group alive as PFC Neftochimik held the leaders PFC Levski Sofia to a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Nunes strikes
Levski lost their key striker Georgi Ivanov to injury early in the game, but his replacement, Georgi Chilikov, put one over his former club with the opening goal after 67 minutes. However, Neftochimik's Chilean striker, Nunes, headed home a Malin Orachev cross for the equaliser two minutes into injury time.
Levski's lead cut by Litex
Levski's lead at the top has been cut to six points as they search for UEFA Champions League football, as second-placed PFC Litex Lovech recorded a 2-1 win over PFC CSKA Sofia. Rosen Kirilov fired Litex in front after 23 minutes, but they only held the lead for ten minutes before Angel Stoikov equalised.
Glorious solo effort
The game was heading for a draw when, with two minutes remaining, Stefan Yurukov scored a glorious solo effort to end CSKA's title ambitions.
Surprise loss for Plovdiv
PFC Lokomotiv Plovdiv suffered a surprise 2-1 defeat against PFC Slavia Sofia who scored through Georgi Vl Georgiev, and Velmir Ivanovich. Ivan Paskov had earlier levelled the scores for Plovdiv at 1-1, after Lyuboslav Penev had missed a 65th-minute penalty.
Beroe in peril
In the Relegation group PFC Beroe look doomed for the drop after going down 1-0 at home to PFC Belasitsa - Gabriel Radoichich scoring the only goal of the game.
Lokomotiv pull away from Marek
PFC Lokomotiv Sofia continue to head the group after beating second-placed PFC Marek 2-1, while PFC Spartak Pleven bolstered their chances of survival with a 2-1 win over PFC Cherno More. In the day's other game PFC Spartak Varna swamped PFC Chernomorets Burgas 3-0.
