FC Sheriff Tiraspol's title charge was temporarily halted by a 0-0 draw with FC Hincesti.

The fourth-placed side held the pace-setters at the Tiraspol City stadium to give second-placed FC Zimbru Chisinau the chance to take two points off Sheriff's Divizia Nationala lead.

Zimbru take advantage 
Zimbru took their opportunity with a 2-0 win against FC Tiligul Tiraspol thanks to goals either side of half-time from Victor Berco and Lado Akhalaia.

Camenca slip further behind 
With 19 games gone, FC Happy End Camenca are bottom of the table and their survival hopes received another blow as they lost 2-1 at FC Agro Chisinau. Andrei Zipunnikov and an own goal by Ruslan Hodos gave Agro a comfortable lead before Dennis Stirba struck a consolation for Camenca.

Late show in Otaci 
In today's other game, FC Nistru Otaci beat FC Constructorul-93 Chisinau 2-1 in a game of late goals. Nikolai Kopisteanskii put Nistru ahead on 71 minutes at the Calaraseura Communal stadium, but the home side needed Yurii Groshev's 89th-minute effort as Olexandr Bychkov scored in injury time for Constructorul.
