FK Viktoria Zizkov missed the chance to move top of the 1. liga after playing out a 1-1 draw against FC Príbram on Sunday.

Hero and villain;
Antonín Mlejnský gave Zizkov the lead with a powerful drive in the 18th minute, before he was sent off for a foul on Brazilian Fabio Gomes. Horst Siegl levelled the scores when he netted his 149th league goal in the 29th minute. Zizkov coach Zdenìk Scasný was later sent off for dissent but his side remain in third spot, one point behind leading clubs AC Sparta Praha and FC Slovan Liberec.

Chmel boost hopes
At the other end of the table, FK Chmel Blšany eased their relegation fears with a comfortable 3-1 victory over FC Baník Ostrava. Jan Žemlík, who signed from second division FK Prostejov on Friday, got his name on the scoresheet, while goals from David Sourada and former Baník player Marcel Licka made it 3-0. Martin Prohászka pulled a goal back for Baník four minutes from the end.

Drnovice in trouble
FK Drnovice, who lost their coach and nine first-team players after an extraordinary deal with Príbram on Saturday, suffered a 3-1 defeat against bottom club SFC Opava. Assistant coach Josef Mazura had several selection headaches and was forced to give No2 goalkeeper Ladislav Kollár his league debut. Kollár conceded three goals, from František Metelka, Adrian Gula and Jan Baránek, before his side grabbed a consolation through Jirí Adamec.

Sigma in charge
SK Sigma Olomouc beat fellow-strugglers SK Hradec Králové 3-0 with Stanislav Vlcek, Patrik Siegl and Lubomír Reiter all scoring. FK Teplice are still in relegation trouble after a 2-0 defeat at 1. FC Synot, as two goals in three minutes from Tomás Vajda and Václav Cincala gave the hosts victory.

Bohemians back to winning ways
CU Bohemians Praha managed their first win in eight matches, despite having captain Michal Petrouš suspended for the match. Ivan Dvorák hit the winner in the 58th minute to seal a 1-0 victory over FC Brno at the V Dolicku stadium.
