TNS Llansantffraid FC secured a place in next season's UEFA Cup with a 4-0 win at Cwmbran Town FC on Saturday.
Superb first half
The visitors were 3-0 up at half-time thanks to goals from Steven Anthrobus (20), David Bridgewater (27) and John Leah (31). Jodie Jenkins completed the rout with eight minutes left, giving Llansantffraid a shot at European competition next term.
Wright boosts Aberystwyth
Aberystwyth Town FC beat Connah's Quay Nomads FC 2-0 thanks to Anthony Wright's two goals. Wright struck twice in three minutes (52 and 55) to give the home side all three points. Elsewhere, Rhyl FC beat Haverfordwest County AFC 2-1 with a last minute Andy Moran goal. Lee Spike gave the home side the lead, scoring after 53 minutes, but Simon Heal equalised nine minutes later. Rhyl claimed the points when Moran popped up with almost the last kick of the match.
Joy for Afan Lido
Chris Pridham's 55th-minute strike was enough to give Afan Lido FC a narrow 1-0 victory against Bangor City FC while Caernarfon Town FC lost at home to Port Talbot FC 2-1 after Tim Brandeth's 18th-minute own goal and an Allan Clarke strike five minutes later put the visitors in front. The hosts did get back into the match on 57 minutes, when Dean Phillpot scored the second own goal of the match, but it was not enough to deny Port Talbot the points.
Carmarthen overwhelm Rhyader
Carmarthen Town AFC produced a superb second-half display to overwhelm Rhayader Town FC 5-0. The home side were just 1-0 up at the break, through a sixth-minute Dean Johnstone goal, but they stepped up the tempo after the interval, and John Keaveney (51), Neil O'Brien (65), Johnstone (71) and Shaun Chapple (80) handed the hosts a comfortable victory.
Gloom for Flexys
Flexys Cefn Druids AFC lost at home to Llanelli FC by a single Mark Dickerson goal after 74 minutes, while a goal in either half gave league champions Barry Town AFC a 2-0 victory away at Oswestry Town FC. Jamie Moralee scored from the spot after 31 minutes, and Michael Flynn struck ten minutes after the break to secure the win.
