Snoei the man for Vitesse

Mike Snoei will replace Edward Sturing as coach of SBV Vitesse at the end of the season.

Fifth in the table
Sturing took charge at Vitesse in December last year following the departure to AFC Ajax of Ronald Koeman but despite taking Vitesse to fifth in the in the Dutch Eredivisie, the Gelredome club have decided on a change, promoting Snoei from the role of youth coach - ironically, the department Sturing is now expected to take over.

Youth coach since 1997
The 37-year old Snoei played for Feyenoord, SC Excelsior and Sparta Rotterdam, before starting his coaching career as youth coach at Sparta. He has been with Vitesse since 1997, helping through the ranks talented young players like Theo Janssen, Mahamadou Diarra, Nick Hofs and Emile Mbamba.
