FC København's win over FC Midtjylland closed the gap on Superligaen leaders Brøndby IF.

FC København's win over FC Midtjylland closed the gap on Brøndby IF, who could only muster a draw against struggling AGF Århus.

Last-gasp leveller
Indeed, the Superligaen leaders needed a long-range strike in the dying seconds from Per Nielsen to earn a point at the Brøndby stadium. Mickey Doyle put AGF ahead after six minutes and the lead was extended by striker Anders Nielsen later in the half. Mattias Jonson pulled a goal back with another shot from distance two minutes after the break before Nielsen struck his dramatic late leveller.

Gap closing
København battled to a 1-0 away win against Midtjylland with Carsten Fredgaard's headed goal coming on the hour. Brøndby are now just five points clear of second-placed København having started the spring season with a ten-point lead.

Silkeborg sunk
Silkeborg IF took the lead twice but lost 3-2 at Viborg FF. The visitors went ahead at the end of the first half when Bo Nielsen headed in a cross from Rasmus Hansen, but Australian striker Sasho Petrovski levelled just after the break. Lars Brogger put Silkeborg back on top on the hour, before Danish international Thomas Frandsen and Michael Nonbo pounced to clinch the points.

Dalgas trick
Odense BK's Kaspar Dalgas netted a hat-trick as his side defeated bottom-placed Lyngby FC 4-0, with Michael Hemmingsen also on target, while Aalborg BK drew 2-2 with Vejle. Mikkel Beck got both third-placed Aalborg's goals, with Alex Norlund and Jesper Mikkelsen scoring to earn a share of the spoils. Akademisk Boldklub and Esbjerg played out a goalless draw.
