The match's turning point came in the 51st minute when Rosen Kirilov was dismissed after two fouls. Litex took advantage of their numerial superiority and got the only goal of the game after 68 minutes. Kiril Nikolov stole the ball from the visitors' defence and fed striker Stefan Yurukov who fired home the decider from the edge of the penalty area.
