Second-placed KS Amica Wronki fought back to salvage a 2-2 Champions Group draw at Odra Wodzislaw after finding themselves 2-0 down within ten minutes.

Krol to the rescue
Krzysztof Piskula opened the scoring after a clearance from Amica goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski hit the midfield player and went into the net. A minute later the lead was doubled when Lukasz Sosin lobbed Szamotulski with ease following a Piotr Rocki pass. Grzegorz Krol came to Amica's rescue, however, scoring in the 32nd and 35th minutes to secure a point.

Top two meet
The result leaves Amica six points behind Legia Warszawa, who beat KP Polonia Warszawa yesterday, ahead of the sides' meeting next week. Amica coach Miroslaw Jablonski said: "I hope we will be able to close the gap on Legia when we meet them at home."

Nearing milestone
Mariusz Srutwa's 99th top-flight goal helped KS Ruch Chorzów to a derby defeat of GKS Katowice. The striker opened the scoring just before the break and Bartlomiej Jamroz sealed the points 13 minutes from time.

Victory for ten men
In the Relegation Group, KS Górnik Zabrze survived the 45th-minute sending-off of Jacek Wisniewski to defeat Slask Wroclaw 2-1. An own goal by Rafal Naskret after 20 minutes set Górnik on their way but Marcin Wasilewski levelled five minutes after the interval. Adam Kompala had the final say, though, with the clinching goal in the 68th minute to leave Slask on the brink of relegation.

Two 1-0 wins
Tomasz Wieszczycki's header eased KS Groclin-Dyskobolia Grodzisk past RKS Radomsko, while Marcin Klosowski helped Stomil Olsztyn to their first home win since 29 September against KSZO Ostrowiec. In the day's remaining game, Widzew Lódz beat Zaglebie Lubin 2-0. Nigerian Emmanuel Ekwueme opened the scoring ten minutes in and Bartosz Slusarski added a second as Lubin lost for the first time since the league split in two.
