Article body
FC Tirol Innsbruck failed to clinch the three points they needed to retain their Austrian Bundesliga crown after they could only manage a 1-1 draw against SV Ried on Saturday.
Shock lead
Tirol, who are 14 points clear of SK Sturm Graz at the summit, fell behind to Herwig Drechsel's 39th-minute strike. But they drew level with just 16 minutes left though Michael Baur's goal and have five more games left to seal their third consecutive title.
Easy for Sturm
Sturm defeated basement club VfB Admira Wacker Mödling 3-0 to remain in second place. David Mudzhiri opened the scoring after 18 minutes and Günther Neukirchner doubled Sturm's advantage 12 minutes after the interval. Imre Szabics struck four minutes from time to cap a comfortable win.
Grazer in charge
Third-placed Grazer AK saw off the challenge of Schwarz-Weiss Bregenz in emphatic style with a 4-1 away win. Jones Kusi-Asare gave Grazer a first-half lead before Gregor Pötscher added a second five minuets after the break. Thomas Eller pulled a goal back for the home side six minutes later, but further strikes from Martin Amerhauser (73) and Nikola Milinkovic (79) put the result beyond doubt.
Salzburg lose
SV Austria Salzburg suffered a 1-0 defeat against FC Kärnten, as Klaus Rohseano scored the only goal of the game in the 39th minute.
