Sigurdur Ragnar Eyjolfsson has returned to KR Reykjavík on a one-year contract from KRC Harelbeke.
Time in England
Eyjolfsson originally began his career at KR but moved on to play for ÍA Akranes, He then left for England, where he played for Football League clubs Walsall FC and Chesterfield FC before heading for Belgium and Harelbeke two years ago.
Out of favour
However, he quickly fell out of favour in Belgium and only managed to play eight matches after they were relegated to the Belgian second division last season. Eyjolfsson will hope to play a key role for KR when the 2002 Icelandic Premier League starts next month.
