FC Dinamo Brest have named Andrey Sosnitsky as their new coach after Viktor Sokol resigned.

Belarussian first division side FC Dinamo Brest have named Andrey Sosnitsky as their new coach after the shock resignation of Viktor Sokol a fortnight ago.

First post
A former Brest and FC Slavia Mozyr player, Sosnitsky has put his studies at the famous Higher Coaching School in Moscow on hold to take up what will be his first coaching job. However, he has worked as an assistant at Mozyr.

Gomel debut
The 40-year-old Sosnitsky has been charged with leading Brest to the Belarus Cup final and securing a top-six league finish. Sonitsky will make his debut on the sidelines on 21 April against FC Gomel, four days before a cup quarter-final against FC Lokomotiv Minsk.
