FC Dinamo Bucuresti midfield player Mugur Bolohan has been banned for four matches and fined €2,250 by his club following his weekend dismissal.
Kicked out
The 26-year-old saw red 67 minutes into Sunday's 1-0 Divizia A defeat by CF Sportul Studentesc. Bolohan had asked to be substituted but kicked out at Florin Maxim after a tackle and was sent off as Costel Ilie prepared to replace him.
'Crucial moment'
The Romanian Football Federation (FRF) has come down hard on Bolohan following an incident his coach, Ion Marin, described as "the crucial moment of the game".
Another blow
The loss of Bolohan is another blow to Dinamo. The league leaders have not won in their last three games as they look to secure the championship and qualification for next season's UEFA Champions League. Bolohan will now only be available for the last five games of the season.
