F.Y.R. Macedonia round-up: Bajevski treble keeps Vardar top

An Aleksandar Bajevski hat-trick ensured that FK Vardar stay a point clear at the top of the championship play-off group in Macedonia as they overcame FK Cementarnica 55 3-2 today.

Three and in
Goals in the 44th, 45th and 61st minutes from Bajevski proved enough to claim all three points against a Cementarnica side for whom Daniel Gosevski scored twice.

Paying the penalty
Second-placed FK Belasica GC kept pace with the leaders after Vanco Kostov's 65th-minute penalty undid FK Pobeda 1-0. FK Rabotnicki beat FK Sloga Jugomagnat 3-1 thanks to two penalties from Pavel Nedelkovski and a goal from Dule Nedeljkovic. Goran Karadzov pulled one back for Sloga three minutes from time.

Napredok hit four
In the relegation play-offs, FK Napredok continue to head the table after they beat FK Osogovo 4-2. Skumbin Arslani, Toni Angelov, Goran Najdeski, and Vasko Georgiev scored for Napredok.

Score draw
FK Kumanovo came from behind to defeat FK Sileks 3-1 as Vlado Davitkov, Dragan Ivanov and Goran Zdravkov scored, while FK Pelister and bottom club FK Makedonija Skopje drew 3-3 in the day's other game.
