Gorica, 4-0 up from the first leg on home soil, completed the formalities with a 2-1 away win in the return leg.
Last-minute winner
The Slovenian international midfielder Ales Ceh gave Gorica the lead with a close-range header after 54 minutes. Ismet Ekmecic levelled for the hosts with an almost carbon copy goal seven minutes later but Darko Kremenovic ensured Gorica claimed victories in both legs with a last-minute winner.
Two in a row
The Cup win is Gorica's second in successive seasons and also the second time they have won the competition in their history. They finished fourth in the Slovenian first division this season.
