Zurek said that he was "delighted" to accept Katowice's offer of a return to management after his sacking by KS Ruch Chorzów last year. "It is a risk I want to take," Zurek added. "But it is too early to talk about the details of my agreement with the club."
On the box
The 47-year-old has spent the last 12 months working as a TV pundit. Before Ruch, he had a more successful spell as trainer to GKS Ruch Radzionków.
