Only a draw needed
Wisla had only needed a draw today to seal the runners-up spot behind champions Legia Warszawa but ended up with a 1-0 victory. The only goal of the game came courtesy of Tomasz Frankowski goal in the 26th minute.

Cup final meeting
The two sides will meet again in the Polish Cup final, and Amica coach Miroslaw Jablonski said: "I'm sure both legs of Polish Cup final will be more exciting than today's game."

Point snatched
Legia finished with a 1-1 draw against KS Ruch Chorzów despite dominating away from home. The champions scored first through Cezary Kucharski in the 29th minute. But, Ruch snatched a point when Bartlomiej Jamroz scored just before the end.

Happy birthday
Finally, Odra Wodzislaw celebrated their 80th anniversary with a 1-1 draw against Pogon Szczecin while Polonia Warszawa finished the season with 0-0 draw with GKS Katowice.
