Demchenko strike
Andriy Demchenko broke the deadlock in the 66th minute, but the home side were lucky not to earn a share of the spoils after Vorskla's Emmanuel Okoduwa missed a penalty five minutes from time.
Tavriya held
FC Tavriya Simferopol were held to a 1-1 draw by FC Zakarpattya Uzhgorod when Olexandr Haidash's 21st-minute goal was cancelled out by Ihor Skoba's strike ten minutes later. The games between FC Arsenal Kyiv and FC Karpaty Lviv, and FC Metalist Kharkiv and FC Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih both ended goalless.
