PFC Levski Sofia preserved their six-point lead in pursuit of the Bulgarian championship with a 2-0 victory at PFC Slavia Sofia.
Goalkeeper error
Levski opened the scoring after 39 minutes when Stanislav Angelov fired home from the edge of the area following a corner. The visitors doubled their lead with almost the last kick of the first-half when Georgi Bachev exploited a mistake by the Slavia keeper to slot home.
Litex close behind
Second-placed PFC Litex Lovech kept up the pace with the champions-elect thanks to a 2-0 win at PFC Neftochimik. The only goals of the match came in the second half when Stefan Yurukov blasted home from close range after 65 minutes and Dede secured the points with four minutes left.
Manchev double
Vladimir Manchev scored twice as PFC CSKA Sofia thrashed PFC Lokomotiv Plovdiv 4-0 to open up a four-point gap in the race for third place. Manchev opened the scoring in the eleventh minute, when his brilliant solo run left Lokomotiv's defence standing before he slotted home. Two minutes after the break Todor Yanchev found Stefan Giglio unmarked in the penalty area who made no mistake with his finish to make it 2-0. In the 64th minute a nice combination between the two goalscorers allowed Manchev to claim his second goal of the game. The rout was completed seven minutes later when subsitute Metodi Deyanov scored a superb header from a corner.
Beroe woe
PFC Chernomorets Burgas beat PFC Beroe 2-0 in a huge relegation derby thanks to two goals in three first-half minutes. Emil Angelov opened the scoring after 22 minutes when he netted after a cross by Ivanikov. It was 2-0 three minutes later when Kostadin Dzhambazov converted from the penalty spot after a foul on Angelov.
Marek edge it
PFC Marek could only manage a 1-0 victory at home at struggling PFC Spartak Varna thanks to a 34th-minute goal by Vlado Kolev while PFC Cherno More hung on to a 3-2 home victory over PFC Lokomotiv Sofia having been three-goals ahead with just over 15 minutes left.
Salis the saviour
PFC Belasitsa completed a superb comeback as they beat PFC Spartak Pleven 3-2 having been 2-0 down. Wenedy Salis's 84th-minute goal completed a famous fightback, and gave the home side the points that lifted them out of the relegation zone.
