Article body
FC Dynamo Kyiv forward and Ukrainian international Serhiy Serebrennikov has signed a five-year contract with Belgian first division runners-up Club Brugge KV.
Terms agreed
The 25-year-old forward has spent two weeks with his new club, and Dynamo quickly agreed transfer terms with Brugge. The fee is undisclosed.
Late developer
Russian-born Serebrennikov only turned professional aged 21, when he joined FC Shinnik Yaroslavl. He left the Russian side for Dynamo, and then opted to naturalise as a Ukrainian to play for the national team under club coach Valeriy Lobanovskiy.
Injury problems
However, injuries have limited him to just three caps, but Brugge are confident that Serebrennikov will prosper in his new role as an attacking midfield player.
