Torpedo-Maz Minsk continued their 100 per cent start to the season with a 1-0 win at FC Belshina Bobruisk tonight.

Pletnev winner
Andrey Pletnev's 72nd-minute strike settled matters in favour of Minsk, who sit proudly atop the first division with 12 points from their opening four matches. FC Dnepr-Transmash Mogilev are two points behind in second but they needed an 89th-minute winner from Yury Lukashov to sneak a 1-0 win against FC Torpedo Zhodino.

Borisov stay in touch
It was more comfortable for FC BATE Borisov, who remain level on points with Mogilev following their 2-0 home win over FC Dinamo Brest, who are still looking for their first win of the new campaign. Alexander Ermakovich broke the deadlock for Borisov in the 22nd minute, before Igor Chumachenko wrapped up the scoring on the stroke of half-time.

First win for Zvezda
A goal eight minutes into the second half from Dmitry Makar gave FC Zvezda-VA-BGU Minsk their first win of the season, 1-0 over Shakhtior Soligorsk. FC Gomel's home game with FC Neman Grodno started with a bang as both sides scored in the opening nine minutes, however neither side was able to make a second breakthrough as the match finished 1-1. The visitors took the lead in the eighth minute through Dmitri Boriseiko before Gomel drew level almost immediately thanks to Gennady Bliznuk.

Lokomotiv in trouble
Lokomotiv-96 Vitebsk's dismal start to the season continued as they slipped to their fourth defeat in four matches, losing 2-0 at home to FC Dinamo Minsk. Dinamo went ahead through Vitaly Volodenkov's 18th-minute strike before Peter Kachuro wrapped up the points 15 minutes from the end.

Molodechno held
In the other match played today, FC Molodechno 2000 drew 2-2 with FC Slavia Mozyr. Slavia's hopes of gaining their first win were boosted when Sergei Kondria opened the scoring in the first minute. But Molodechno hit back to lead through goals from Sergey Sidorenko (13) and an own goal from Mikhail Vavilov (25) to leave Slavia needing an 88th-minute equaliser from Igor Rakovsky to claim a point.
