The Armenian league match between FC Pyunik and FC Ararat Yerevan on Thursday had to be abandoned when the Ararat squad left the pitch after just two minutes of play.
AFF response
The executive committee of the Armenian Football Federation (AFF) responded to Ararat's actions on Friday by criticising Arkadiy Andreasyan, the Ararat president and suspending the club's general sectretary Gagik Grigoryan from his duties for one year.
President comments
"We are fed up with Andreasyan's behaviour," said Ruben Hayrapetyan, president of the AFF. "This year only he has twice violated football laws. Everything has limits. The spectators come to watch the match and not scandals. Andreasyan is wrong in all respects and it is high time to put an end to it. So we came to a right decision."
