The derby between Bryne FK and Viking FK ended in a thrilling 3-3 draw today in the Tippeligaen.

Lemsalu opener
It took 23 minutes for the game to come alive when Bryne central defender Marek Lemsalu headed the hosts in front. Bryne then doubled their lead on the half-hour mark through Swede Peter Olofsson, but Erik Nevland popped up just five minutes later to reduce the deficit after a mistake from Bryne goalkeeper Knut Lillebakk.

Another mistake
In-form midfield player Trygve Nygaard took advantage of more slack defending, this time from Knut Sirevåg, as he pounced in the 59th minute to level the score. And just six minutes later, Viking completed their comeback with Erik Fuglestad's 22-metre shot.

Late drama
Bryne looked to be heading back into the relegation zone, but Ole Hjelmhaug saved a point with two minutes remaining. The draw means that Viking are now fifth in the Norwegian premier division with Bryne in tenth.
