Dheedene waltzes over to Wien

Former Belgium international Didier Dheedene has left FK Austria Wien for TSV 1860 München.

Former Belgium international Didier Dheedene has moved to FK Austria Wien from TSV 1860 München on a one-year loan deal.

Out of favour
Dheedene has been out of favour at the German club ever since Peter Pacult replaced Werner Lorant as their coach last autumn and the 30-year-old defender is hoping the move will help him find the form he showed while playing for RSC Anderlecht in the Belgian Jupiler League.

New cast
Dheedene joins a host of new players at the club, including Raymond Kvisvik, Thorstein Helstad, Radoslaw Gilewicz, Jürgen Panis, Manfred Rotbauer and Eric Akoto, as they look to improve on last season's fourth-place finish.
