Article body
HB Tórshavn wasted the chance to put some distance between themselves and NSÍ Runavík at the top of the Faroe Islands first division today after slumping to a 2-1 defeat at EB/Streymur.
Dan and Anghel on target
The league leaders, currently level on points with Runavík, were beaten by goals from Vinjard Dam and Sorin Anghel either side of Andrew av Flotum's equaliser.
Late leveller
At the bottom of the table, Skála were pegged back by Kaj Roest's late equaliser for TB Tyøroyri. Skála had fallen behind midway through the first half when Oli Johannesen found the net for the home side, but second-half goals from Alexander Johansen and Marius Joensen put them 2-1 up. However, Roest struck with 16 minutes left though to salvage a draw for the hosts and deny Skála their first win of the season.
Home defeat
Elsewhere, B36 Tórshavn lost 3-2 at home to GÍ Gøtu, while KÍ Klaksvík and VB Vágur played out a goalless draw.
