KR Reykjavík moved to the top of the Icelandic Premier League tonight with a narrow 1-0 home win against Fram Reykjavík.
Two points clear
Fram outplayed their hosts for long periods in the first half but KR took one of their few opportunities in the 42nd minute when Sigurdur Ragnar Eyjslfsson scored the game's only goal. He found himself in space on the edge of the box and powered home a low shot to seal all three points for KR and move his team two points clear of Fylkir.
