Iceland round-up: Johannesson lifts Fylkir

Steingrimur Johannesson scored the  only goal of the game as Fylkir overcame ÍBV Vestmannæyjar 1-0.

Clear lead
Johannesson's third goal in two games puts Fylkir three points clear at the top of the Simadeildin, though they have now played two more games than their nearest rivals Grindavík and Keflavík.

Late equaliser
Champions ÍA Akranes, who have yet to win a game this season, were denied three points by KA Akureyri as Elmar Dan Sigthorsson made it 1-1 seven minutes from time. Ellert Jsn Bjornsson had put the Akranes side in front just two minutes earlier.
