Convincing win
Sigurdur Ragnar Eyjolfsson opened the scoring for KR after 38 minutes and Einar Thor Danielsson doubled the advantage four minutes before the hour mark.
Gap cut
The victory takes KR to seven points, one behind leaders Grindavík
and Keflavík. The last-named side wasted the chance to go top after they were held to a 1-1 draw at Thór Akureyri.
Late blow
Magnus Thorsteinsson put Keflavík ahead in the 16th minute but they were denied all three points by Orri Hjaltalin Oskarsson's 84th-minute equaliser.
