Last year's Superligaen runners-up FC København had to settle for a draw today as they were held 2-2 by Viborg FF.
Points shared
Viborg twice took the lead, through Klaus Kærgård's delightful chip and a Michael Gravgaard header. But Peter Nielsen levelled the scores at 1-1, after exchanging passes with Peter Møller, and then Todi Jónsson headed the second equaliser from a Carsten Fredgaard cross.
Equalising penalty
Newly-promoted Køge BK drew 2-2 with Akademisk Boldklub. Nicolai Stokholm put Akademisk in front, but the Superleague's leading scorer from last season, Tommy Olsen, equalised just three minutes later. Akademisk re-established the lead in the 67th minute when Heine Fernández stabbed the ball in, but after Anders Clausen was brought down in the area, Morten Eskesen equalised from the penalty spot.
Andreasen dismissed
AGF Århus had a comfortable 2-0 win over Farum with Morten Poulsen and Allan Borgvaldt scoring the goals. Farum were reduced to ten men from the 30th minute when Thomas Andreasen was dismissed for a second bookable offence.
Silberbauer double
Two goals from Michael Silberbauer gave Aalborg BK a 2-1 victory at Esbjerg fB. Michael Hansen pulled one back for Esbjerg, with a thunderous 20-metre strike, but it was not enough. And Odense BK put one over on their former manager Troels Bech as they beat his new club FC Midtjylland 2-0, Michael Hemmingsen and Mwape Miti scoring the goals.
