Six caps
The 28-year-old Maurice, who has represented his country on six occasions, joined Olympique de Marseille from Paris Saint-Germain FC in 1998 but spent last season on loan at RC Celta de Vigo in Spain's Primera División.
Another arrival
Bastia also signed 30-year-old midfield player Jocelyn Gourvennec from Stade Rennais FC on a two-year contract today. No financial details of the deals were given.
